The Oregon SIEC was pleased to host Ms. Seidel at her luncheon speech.

The four sessions of the SIEC Stakeholder Summit were well attended, and conference participants learned a great deal about what Oregon is doing to advance public safety wireless communications. Summit topics included:
  • What is "interoperability" and why everyone should care about it
  • Trends in New Technology, Spectrum Policy and Interoperability - A National Perspective
  • Easy to Implement and Easy to Fund Solutions to Low Level Interoperability, and
  • Who Decides What´s Right for Oregon?
Consistent with the SIEC’s objective to increase awareness of the issue of interoperability and the activities of the SIEC, the PowerPoint presentations of conference presenters are made available for your use and review.

Please feel free to share and use this information to help the SIEC educate public safety professionals, emergency first responders, and the public about public safety communications in Oregon.
