Advanced Metering Workshop

The Oregon Public Utility Commission has opened an investigation to identify policies that facilitate the further adoption of advanced meters, communication technology and automated meter reading. The investigation is one of several recommendations staff made to address requirements for future demand response programs. This workshop will provide information on advanced metering technologies, utility installations, costs and benefits, and opportunities for demand response for residential and commercial customers. The workshop also will explore regulatory issues related to advanced metering for Oregon customers.
