General Information:
The Commission´s rules are set forth in Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) Chapter 860. The Commission rules govern agency proceedings and administer regulatory matters.
Rulemaking proceedings are quasi-legislative rather than quasi-judicial; therefore, formal intervention is not required to participate in a rulemaking workshop, if any, or to file comments with the Commission (either written or orally at a rulemaking hearing).
How to Receive Notice of Rulemaking:
To be placed on a list to receive notice of proposals to adopt, amend, or repeal any Commission rule, contact the Administrative Hearings Division at (503) 378-4372 or send an email with your complete contact information to diane.davis@state.or.us. There are rulemaking notification lists for Electric, Gas, Telecommunications, Water, and Policy & Procedure.
To be placed on the service list for a particular rulemaking, contact the Administrative Hearings Division at (503) 378-4372 or send an email with your complete contact information to diane.davis@state.or.us. Once you are added to a rulemaking service list, your name and address will appear on this web site as part of the Service List in eDockets.
