A Telnet helper is a program that allows your computer to open a terminal session with mainframe computers. Most web browsers do not come with a telnet helper configured, and you may get an "application not found" error message when you click on the link to WARS or WRIS on the previous page.
If you recieve this message, you need to configure your browser so that it can find a telnet application. Please refer to the documentation with your browser to set this up.
If you do not have a telnet helper on your machine, you may need to purchase one or download a "shareware" version of one. Make sure that the telnet helper you obtain supports 132 column display mode since there are several screens in WRIS that make use of this feature.
