Sheriff Bob Hudspeth Wheeler County Sheriff's Office Office: (541) 763-4101 Lieutenant Gregg Hastings Public Information Officer Office: (503) 731-3020 ext. 247 The investigation into the death of Frank Means, age 61, from Portland, that occurred in southwest Wheeler County on October 7, 2009 is continuing. Oregon State Police (OSP) detectives, assisting Wheeler County Sheriff's Office, have advised all persons involved in the incident, including witnesses, have been identified.
