Forensic Services Division
The Forensic Services Division is a nationally accredited forensic laboratory system serving all state and local law enforcement agencies, medical examiners and prosecuting attorneys in Oregon. The Division also performs forensic analysis on criminal cases for the defense upon a court order.

The Forensic Services Division provides Oregon's only full service forensic laboratory system. Our analysts provide technical assistance and training, evaluate and analyze evidence, interpret results, and provide expert testimony related to the full spectrum of physical evidence recovered from crime scenes.

Forensic DNA Analysis Training
The Forensic Service Division will be hosting four Forensic DNA Analysis classes for Oregon law enforcement and District Attorneys.

Oregon Regional Forensic Academies
Oregon Regional Forensic Academies are held in various locations across Oregon each year. These classes provide training to local law enforcement in the identification, collection and preservation of evidence. They are designed for new investigators or as refreshers to more experienced officers.

The following locations and dates have been announced:

Hillsboro Police Department - Hillsboro, OR
May 6-9, 2008

Tillamook County Sheriff's Office - Tillamook, OR
June 10-13, 2008
