The Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) took final disciplinary action against the following 17 nurses or nursing assistants during its Jan. 10, 2008, disciplinary Board Meeting.
Coos County
- The Board placed the nursing assistant certificate of CNA Applicant Brandy J. Haga on probation for two years, for using controlled substances to the extent that she is unable to perform CNA duties safely. She resides in Coos Bay, Ore.
Douglas County
- The Board revoked the Registered Nurse license of Lorraine M. Wheeler (091003380RN) of Roseburg, Ore., for client neglect, incomplete recordkeeping and use of a controlled substance to the extent that she is unable to practice nursing safely.
- The Board accepted the Voluntary Surrender of Linda A. Hughes' Registered Nurse license (092007357RN) for practicing nursing when unable due to a psychological impairment. She resides in Sutherlin, Ore.
- The Board accepted the Voluntary Surrender of Sherri L. Capelle's nursing assistant and medication aide certificates (000025293CNA / 200220060CMA) for a Theft conviction and for using controlled substances to the extent that she is unable to perform nursing assistant duties safely. She resides in Myrtle Creek, Ore
Klamath County
- The Board suspended the nursing assistant certificate of Deirdre L. Solyst-Matthies (200512625CNA) of Klamath Falls, Ore., for failing to cooperate with the Board during an investigation.
- The Board accepted the Voluntary Surrender of Debra J. Finnerty's Registered Nurse license (200441886RN) for practicing nursing when unable due to a psychological impairment. She resides in Keno, Ore
Lane County
- The Board accepted the Voluntary Surrender of Sharel D. Brower's Registered Nurse license (080012227RN) for using controlled substances to the extent that she is unable to practice nursing safely. She resides in Eugene, Ore.
Linn County
- The Board suspended the nursing assistant certificate of Deana DeLarosa (000044634CNA) of Lebanon, Ore., for failing to cooperate with the Board during an investigation
Lincoln County
- The Board revoked the nursing assistant certificate of Theresa K. Kallio (200511792CNA) of Lincoln City, Ore., for exploiting the client relationship for personal gain.
- The Board accepted the Voluntary Surrender of Timothy A. Trautman's Adult Nurse Practitioner certificate and Registered Nurse license (081001709RN / 081001709N3) for inaccurate and incomplete recordkeeping, and for engaging in sexual contact with a client. He resides in Waldport, Ore
Marion County
- The Board suspended the nursing assistant certificate of Lorina L. Allison (000017471CNA) of Salem, Ore., for failing to cooperate with the Board during an investigation.
- The Board accepted the Voluntary Surrender of Bradley K. Busey's nursing assistant certificate (200610174CNA) for an Assault conviction, fraud during the licensure process, and use of a controlled substance to the extent that he is unable to perform the duties of a nursing assistant safely. He resides in Salem, Ore
Multnomah County
- The Board suspended the Registered Nurse license of Gloria M. Reynolds (089003394RN) of Gresham, Ore., for failing to cooperate with the Board during an investigation.
- The Board revoked the Registered Nurse license of Kathleen W. Repp (090000365RN) of Portland, Ore., for violating the terms and conditions of a Board Order.
Union County

The Board revoked the nursing assistant certificate of Susan R. Smith (200412338CNA) of La Grande, Ore., for violating the terms and conditions of a Board Order and client abuse.
Out of State
- Washington—The Board revoked the Practical Nurse license of Timothy E. Charters (200630103LPN) of White Salmon, Wash., for client abuse, failure to respect the dignity of clients and failure to cooperate with the Board during an investigation.
- Idaho—The Board revoked the nursing assistant certificate of Angelique M. Svedine (200610692CNA) of Boise, Idaho, for exploiting the client relationship for personal gain.
