The SCORP Advisory Committee assists Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) staff with the 2003-2007 SCORP planning process. They do this by:
- Determining the basic plan outline
- Identifying significant statewide outdoor recreation issues and solutions
- Reviewing the regional and statewide recreational needs assessment,
- Identifying agency roles for the provision of outdoor recreation in the state
- Determining a rating system criteria for evaluating grant proposals for Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) funding, and
- Reviewing plan drafts
