 Stub Stewart and LaPine state parks allow pets in selected cabins during a pilot project that ends Dec. 31, 2009. Reservations can be made by phone (1-800-452-5687). An extra fee of $10 per night will be charged. A limit of two pets will be in effect. "Pets" are defined as dogs or cats. Information about the pet survey.

The charm of a log cabin along the Oregon Trail and the convenience of a full-service campground. The Emigrant Springs Totem cabin is actually two units, each with two bunk beds. Rent one for a small party, or both for a larger gathering.
