Myrtle Creek Pioneer Cemetery Committee volunteers.
Myrtle Creek Pioneer Cemetery Committee created a wonderful community project with their grant. The Historic Cemeteries grant covered the cost of kiosk type sign so that information about the cemetery and those buried there can be displayed and changed. The Myrtle Creek garden Club joined in to add nice landscaping around the sign and within the cemetery. The local high school Honor Society was also involved. These efforts followed the installation of a lovely new gate and marker cleaning and repair.
