What is a wild pig?
Wild pigs cause crop damage, pose a serious threat to the health and welfare of domestic pigs, endanger human health, impact wildlife populations, and are devasting in riparian areas. A recent risk assessment for Oregon notes that wild pigs pose a very high risk to Oregon- both their economic and environmental impacts are high.

Where?
Currently, wild pigs have been seen in central and southwestern Oregon.
Lookalike?
Any pig that is not in an enclosure is considered a wild pig, or feral swine.
