Regulatory Operations Division
Facility Inspection
The Regulatory Operations Division manages and develops regulatory compliance programs for business, independent contractor and practitioner license holders, and upholds consumer contracts governing hearing aid sales by hearing aid specialists.

The division directs all regulatory aspects of the agency, conducting thousands of inspections and hundreds of investigations annually while assisting licensees in gaining compliance through education, training and the disciplinary process.

Board of Body Art Practitioners Created
Laws and Rules
The 2011 Oregon Legislature passed HB 2013 which creates a Board of Body Art Practitioners within the Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) to advise the agency on the regulation of body piercing, dermal implanting, electrology, scarification and tattooing. The agency filed administrative rules on November 1, 2011, which propose new qualification requirements for body piercing.
