You can earn three continuing education credits by attending council meetings.
The Advisory Council for Electrologists, Permanent Color Technicians and Tattoo Artists (EPT) consists of five members appointed by the governor: two practicing electrologists, one tattoo artist/permanent color technician with two years experience, one licensed physician and one member of the public. Terms of office are two years beginning January 1 with a maximum of two consecutive terms or until a successor is appointed.

Established by the 70th Oregon Legislative Assembly in 1999, the Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) is a state consumer protection agency overseeing regulation of multiple health and related professions. Unique among Oregon’s regulatory agencies, OHLA oversees multiple professions under a central agency administration.
