| Tackling the Test! |
|
We know that taking a test can be stressful. That’s why we’ve created this “virtual tour” to help you familiarize yourself with the examination process.
The Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) is located in Salem, just down the street from the State Capital in the Veterans’ Affairs building at 700 Summer Street NE, Suite 320. For easy-to-follow directions and information about parking, click here.

| How to Get Here |
|
Our office is on the third floor, in the northwest section of the building. Upon exiting the elevator, turn to your right and follow the hallway until you see our sign. Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

| Before You Test |
|
Once you enter the office, you will be assisted by an OHLA customer service representative. You will be provided with information that you need to take the examination. You’ll then be asked to take a seat and wait until your paperwork as been completed. A computer testing terminal will be scheduled for your examiniation.

| Taking the Test |
|
This is the testing area, which you’ll note is small, so please be patient on busy days. All tests are taken on computers, but do not fret if you’re not technologically “savvy.” Our testing system is very user friendly!
You will be assigned to a computer terminal by our staff. If you have any questions about the test-taking process, be sure to ask any questions before you start. The test is timed, and there is a small clock in the corner that reads your “Time Remaining.” You do not need to bring pens, pencils or timers. Good luck!
