A district manager for Perfect Look salons for more than 10 years, Ms. Petersen has practiced hair design since 1967. She graduated from Corvallis High School and Phagan's Beauty School in Corvallis and Salem.
“I have always been a working hair stylist, supporting my daughter and myself well," says Ms. Petersen. "I would like hair design to be recognized as a well-paying career with benefits—to put a good light on the entire industry.”
