The Property Management Unit manages ODOT owned excess and surplus property in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes, Oregon Administrative Rules, Transportation Commission Policy, and Right of Way Section Procedures. This unit manages these assets in a manner that is beneficial to the Department and ensures the greatest return to the Highway Trust Fund. This involves selling, exchanging surplus property; leasing and renting property not currently needed for operational use.
The Property Management Unit also maintains an automated property inventory and accounts receivable database program.
