    • Inter-agency communication
    • Public announcements

  • PM/PL Curriculum Guide -The PM/PL Curriculum Guide is intended to provide management and non-management staff information regarding PL and PM training and development.  You will find information regarding required, recommended, and optional training for PLs and PM's based on identified core competencies for those roles.  You will also find where to obtain more information such as a description, cost, and schedule for each course.  In addition, this guide provides information to managers on how to orient a new PL or PM, and PDUs role with assisting in the orientation process.
  • Business Line Forum (ODOT access only) -The Forum offers an excellent opportunity for business line staff involved in project delivery to share lessons learned, network, exchange information, learn new processes and project management “best practices”, and help identify and resolve problems facing project delivery. Forums are held in the fall on an annual basis. These materials are from the previous forums.

Consultant Project Managers, Local Agency Liaisons, and others interested in project development can also benefit from these materials
  • Oregon Project Management Certification Programs (OPMCP) -The Oregon Project Management Certification Program (OPMCP) is designed to develop leaders in the project management field. With the complexity of work increasing, our time to complete projects decreasing, and public expectations rising, excellent project management will be key to our future success. This program is designed to develop leaders in the project management field and is offered through the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), to all state and local government employees.
OPMA Scholarship Program
An offering of 50% ($1400) of the cost of the program registration fee.  With the increasing complexity of work, shorter time frames to complete projects, and rising public expectations, superior project management is key to ODOTs success. The goal of this scholarship program is to support the advancement of professional project management in ODOT by providing tuition assistance for the Oregon Project Management Certification Program (OPMCP) to regions with limited training budgets.
