The Pioneer Mountain - Eddyville project will consist of the design and construction of new highway facility and improvements of the highway on the east and west ends. The new alignment is more direct and three miles shorter. The new highway alignment will include at least eight new structures over creeks, rivers, a railroad and a proposed highway. The Hayes Creek Bridge at MP 21.01 will be replaced as part of the statewide OTIA III Bridge Program.
