This Design-Build project consists of replacement and repair work on seven bridge locations within Lane and Douglas Counties, Oregon. Three locations are on I-5 south of Cottage Grove within Douglas County and four locations west of Eugene on Hwy 126 within Lane County as part of the OTIA III Bridge Program. (See table below)

This project will contain several interesting and challenging elements including detour bridge construction, staged construction, traffic control, roadway/approach design, and possible rapid bridge replacement as well as numerous design and construction management elements. Primary project goals are to minimize impacts to traffic on I-5 and OR 126, balanced earthwork between the work sites, minimal use of retaining structures, and when required, that they be aesthetically designed to blend into the environment.
The range value for this project is between $40-$47 million. Interested firms should consider their bonding capacity at or above these values when evaluating their ability to participate in the project.
