Welcome to the Air Quality, Acoustics, and Energy Program website, part of the Geo-Environmental Section, Oregon Department of Transportation. Environmental study and monitoring of air quality and noise issues are an important part of transportation project development. ODOT works closely with FHWA and the Department of Environmental Quality to identify air quality issues and construction and traffic noise problems in the earliest stages of project development.
