• Address changed? Change your address online with DMV.
• Need a form, a manual or a blank accident report form? Download from the Internet or pick one up at any DMV office's self-service area.   
• Sold your vehicle? Notify DMV online.
• Questions? Contact DMV.

• Bring all required documentation and fees (see list of driver-related fees or vehicle-related fees) needed to conduct your transaction.
• Proof of legal presence, full name, identity, date of birth and Social Security Number is required for all original, renewal and duplicate (replacement) driver license, driver permit and ID card transactions.
• DMV offices only accept cash, checks or money orders for payment of fees.
  • Checks and money orders must be payable to Oregon DMV for the exact amount.
  • DMV does not accept credit or debit cards, however ATMs are available in most office lobbies (see specific office pages for details).

• Have ready to give to the customer service representative, your:
  • driver license number;
  • license plate number; or
  • vehicle identification number (VIN).
• Have paper and pen ready to take down requirements or other information the customer service representative may give you.
• Have we received your overnight documents or payments?  Check by entering your tracking number at FedEx, DHL, USPS, and UPS.
• Need directions to your local DMV office? Check the specific page for the office you are interested in visiting.
• Need to order a copy of your driving record? DMV cannot send you a copy without first receiving payment.  You must go into a DMV office to order and pay for a copy.
