Northeast Portland DMV office closed for repairs
April 10, 2007
The Northeast Portland DMV office will be closed until further notice for building repairs.
During the repair work, staff from the Northeast Portland will be posted at other Portland-area field DMV field offices to help with the additional customers who would have gone to the Northeast Portland office.
Customers have several alternatives to the Northeast Portland office, located at 1836 NE 82nd Ave. For a list of other Portland-area field offices, go to the “DMV offices” section at www.OregonDMV.com or go directly to the list at www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/offices/areaport.shtml
Customers also can save time by visiting www.OregonDMV.com before they go to a DMV office.
The Web site may answer their questions or provide forms to do their DMV business by mail. A few services, such as change of address or reporting the sale of your car, may be done online. Or customers may download forms and fill them out before going to a DMV office and save a little time there.
