Governor's Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety to meet

The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. The meeting will be held at the Lloyd Center Doubletree Hotel, 1000 NE Multnomah, Portland.
The committee will discuss plans for Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, hear reports from ODOT’s motorcycle safety program and TEAM OREGON Motorcycle Safety training program and discuss the 2009 Legislative session.
In addition, the committee has set aside time to hear ideas from the public on Oregon’s rising motorcycle crash rate, mandatory training and consequences for riding unendorsed.
