Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee to meet April 17

The Oregon Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, April 17, 2008, from 8:30 a.m.to noonat the NaturalResourceBuilding, 3415 Commercial St. SE, in Salem.
The committee will hear presentations on the truck safety online suggestion box, Unified Carrier Registration enforcement and results of a recent illegal household goods movers enforcement operation among other topics. In addition, Gregg Dal Ponte, Motor Carrier Transportation Division administrator will provide information on a temporary amendment to OAR 734-075-0010.
Gayle Green, Motor Carrier Audit Program manager, will facilitate the meeting.The committee is made up of representatives from the Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon State Police, the trucking industry and related industries.
