Trails in the Tillamook State Forest are managed for a range of recreation uses. Sixty-five miles of non-motorized trails provide options for the hiker, mountain biker and horseback rider.
Climb to the top of King’s Mountain for a remarkable view. Set out with your horse to explore part of the original Wilson River Wagon Road. Hop on your mountain bike for a great ride on the Gales Creek Trail.

All trails are now open except the following trail sections:
Wilson River Trail
The Jones Creek Footbridge connecting Jones Creek Campground with the trail west to Tillamook Forest Center will be temporarily closed for relocation of the bridge. It will reopen near the end of December.
Gales Creek Trail Storey Burn Trail Junction to Bell Camp Road (5.2 miles): Closed
The Gales Creek Trail from the Storey Burn Trail Junction to Reehers Camp is closed to all use due to significant damage from the December 2007 storm . Trail reconstruction planned to begin in Fall 2009.
The Oregon Department of Forestry has been working with FEMA to relocate and reconstruct the Gales Creek Trail. Environmental documentation work is in progress for the project and a draft of the Environmental Assessment has been completed and is available for public review. (07/39-08-27)
