A woodland scene
Special Forest Products
A scene from one of Oregon's State Forests
The Oregon Department of Forestry has guidelines (as of October 1, 2006) for collecting special forest products on northwest Oregon state forestlands (Tillamook, Clatsop, Santiam State Forests, and West Oregon District).  The guidelines describe what special forest products can be collected for personal use without a permit and which special forest products require permits for commercial harvesting.

These guidelines apply to personal use and commercial use.
