Pre-Meeting Materials
Thursday, July 30: Field Tour - Hinkle Creek
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - The Board will meet for a field tour of the Hinkle Creek watershed project.  The meeting place in Sutherlin is at the old Ray's Foodliner parking lot west of I-5, which is off of Exit 136, west on West Central Avenue, then north on Dakota Street.  Hinkle Creek is the site of a new, state-of-the-art paired watershed study to investigated the effects of contemporary forest practices on water quality, fisheries, and aquatic habitat.  It is the first ever paired watershed study located completely on private forestland.  Members of the public wishing to join the Board are asked to bring their lunch and provide their own transporation.
