Creeping yellow cress
Creeping yellow cress (Rorippa sylvestris)
ODA rating: B

Other common names
yellow fieldcress

Description
Perennial; flowers June to August. Grows up to 20 in tall. Leaves 2 to 4 in long and pinnately divided into narrow, sharply toothed lobes. Flowers yellow with four small petals.

Impacts
A common pest of Netherland ormamental bulb production areas. This plant can reduce bulb crop value and marketability as a contaminate of nursery stock. It invades disturbed wetlands, and some evidence suggests that this species may be allelopathic.
