Clackamas River Watershed Volunteer Restoration Work Parties

Want to help the Clackamas watershed but don’t know how? Well you are in luck because the Clackamas River Basin Council (CRBC) will be hosting work parties where we will remove invasive species and plant native trees.
Meet at the CRBC office, 19750 SE Damascus Lane, Damascus, Oregon 97089 at 8:45 am to carpool to various restoration sites throughout the Damascus, Boring, and Happy Valley area

Event Weed Warriors Weekly Weed Pulls
Help kick-off the 2009 Tuesday Weed Warriors! Join fellow outdoor lovers and Land Trust friends to fight invasive species at a beautiful Rimrock Ranch. Work will begin at 10am and includes an hour break for a brown bag lunch and socializing. Come for the whole day or just part. Beginning April 21, 2009 and continuing every Tuesday and second Saturday of each month at Rimrock Ranch.

Keller Woodlands Restoration Work Party

This project occurs the 1st Saturday of every month. Join the West Willamette Restoration Partnership for a morning of urban forest restoration. The Marquam Trail runs through this natural area and is part of the city’s 40-Mile Loop. Meet at pull-out on Terwilliger Blvd south of SW Bancroft Ter and north of SW Westwood Dr. Snacks, gloves, and tools provided. Contact Amanda at (503)699-9825 or volunteer@trlc.org.

Terwilliger Forest Restoration Work Party

This project occurs the 2nd Saturday of every month. Join the West Willamette Restoration Partnership to help keep this a high-quality natural area for people, plants, and wildlife! Many hikers, runners, and bicyclists utilize this verdant boulevard. Meet near public restrooms at SW Terwilliger Blvd and SW Hamilton St. Snacks, gloves, and tools provided. This project occurs the last Saturday of every month. Come join the West Willamette Restoration Partnership at the highest point in Portland and enjoy your Saturday morning working outside and meeting others in our community.
