Oregon Information Related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
Governor Kulongoski has requested that every state agency provide a Web page dedicated to the America Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This page will provide information about the opportunities that the Oregon Commission on Children & Families is pursuing through the federal stimulus plan. Our goal is to keep you informed of how the federal economic recovery dollars are being spent, and what we are doing to help move Oregon forward – especially our children and families -- during this economic recession.

Economic Recovery "The Oregon Way"

This is an excellent summation of the ways in which stimulus funds could be used in communities to meet the needs of runaway and homeless youth and young adults. We hope this will provide some ideas about how to collaborate locally and funnel some of these resources to homeless youth.
