Public Notices for Coastal Program federal consistency reviews are governed by OAR Chapter 660, Division 35, Section 307(c) of the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended, and Title 15, Part 930 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

December 14, 2011 - The Port of Brookings Harbor proposes to conduct dredge and disposal activities in Brookings, Curry County, and in the Oregon Territorial Sea. Comment deadline: January 4, 2012.
October 4, 2011 - The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) proposes to acquire the 5.22 acre "Miller" property in trust for the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Comment deadline: October 25, 2011.
May 25, 2011 - Ocean Power Technologies (OPT) proposes to deploy ten (10) PowerBuoys in Oregon's Territorial Sea, with a buried transmission cable surfacing in Douglas County. Comment deadline: June 23, 2011.
April 19, 2011 - The Bonneville Power Administration proposes to rebuild the Bandon-Rogue transmission line in Coos and Curry Counties. Comment deadline: May 10, 2011.
March 10, 2011 - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposes to reissue 48 and issue 2 new Nationwide Permits. Comment deadline: April 8, 2011.

The DLCD submits changes to Oregon Laws to the Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for inclusion into the enforceable policies of the Oregon Coastal Management Program (OCMP).
Public Notices for changes to the OCMP are governed by Section 306(e) of the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended, and Title 15, Part 923 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

April 16, 2010 - The DLCD is submitting as a Routine Program Change (RPC) changes to Oregon's ocean management policies for approval and inclusion as enforceable policies in the OCMP. Details of the submittal can be found on the Public Notice document.
Comment deadline: May 21, 2010.

Anyone wishing to receive notices in either or both circumstances may request inclusion on our mailing list. The OCMP distributes notices by electronic mail (preferred) or regular mail. Notices are also posted on this web page.
