- The Metro East Employer Council (MEEC) is a group of employer volunteers who serve as advisors to the Gresham office of WorkSource Oregon Employment Department.
- MEEC provides valuable input to the Employment Department on local workforce issues and services.
- MEEC members have the opportunity to address workforce development concerns at both the local and state level.
- MEEC hosts low-cost educational seminars on Human Resources related topics.
- MEEC has funded a $1500 scholarship for a second year student in the Mt. Hood Community College Machine Tool Technology program.
