The Mission of the Oregon Board of Dentistry is to protect the public by assuring that the citizens of Oregon receive the highest possible quality oral health care.
Every child in Oregon should be a healthy kid and the state of Oregon is trying to ensure that. Depending on family income, children may be eligible for free or low-cost health coverage for doctor visits, dental care, vision, medicines and more through the Healthy Kids program.
The Oregon Healthy Kids web site has information about the Healthy Kids Program, including eligibility, services covered, and how to apply. There's also a place to find out how to help us spread the word and/or to partner with us to help families apply.

Dental renewal postcards were mailed January 22, 2010. If you have not received your renewal postcard by February 1, 2010, please contact the Board office.
The Board has moved to an online renewal process. You will find a tracking number directly above the address information on your postcard that you will need in order to renew online.
Once you have accessed your online renewal application, you will be able to complete the process entirely online. If you should need to stop in the middle of the process, your information up to that point will be saved and you can return at a later date to complete the process. You will be able to pay online with a credit card or you can choose to print your completed renewal and mail to the PO Box with a check or money order.
There will be no exceptions for the online process. If you do not have access to a computer, you can visit your local public library, a family member or visit the Board office.
If you are ready to renew, please follow the link below.
Protect yourself, your family and your co-workers by getting vaccinated and staying informed. The fewer of us who get sick from either seasonal influenza or pandemic H1N1 influenza, the more we can reduce the impact in our schools and workplaces. Visit the state's flu Web site at www.flu.oregon.gov or call the state hotline at 1-800-978-3040.
