Superintendnent's Responsibilities
The superintendent is the person ultimately responsible for all aspects of a smooth running institution. To make this task easier, three assistant superintendents divide the various responsibilities into three major categories. They report directly to the Superintendent. Even with the assistant superintendents, there are some areas that report directly to his office or to the Superintendent´s executive assistant.
Superintendent Belleque's Bio
Brian began as a Correctional Officer at the Oregon State Penitentiary in 1983, later holding positions including Correctional Captain and Security Manager before becoming Interim Superintendent of OSP in August 2002. He was appointed permanently to the position in May 2003.
