OVRS is a state and federally funded program that works in partnership with the community and with business to develop employment opportunities for people who have disabilities. Vocational Rehabilitation programs are custom-designed for each individual.

Professional Internship Information
OVRS is committed to the professional development of students in Rehabilitation Counseling and related educational programs. Through its Internship Program, OVRS matches graduate students with Mentor Counselors in field offices throughout the state, to assist the students in completing their required fieldwork experiences.

Students interested in completing fieldwork experiences in job classifications other than Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor are encouraged to contact the OVRS Internship Program staff to discuss options and opportunities.
