The Oregon Menu Labeling Act was passed during the 2009 Legislative Session to provide consumers with basic nutrition information about prepared food sold at chain restaurants. Beginning January 1, 2010, restaurants with 15 or more outlets nationwide will provide information regarding the calories, saturated fat, trans fat, carbohydrates and sodium in their menu items upon request.
