HIV/AIDS Reports and Data

The following HIV/AIDS data tables and summaries were prepared by the HIV/STD/TB Program of the Oregon Department of Human Services. The Epidemiologic Profile is published annually and is a comprehensive review of HIV/AIDS in Oregon. More recent and preliminary data is prepared quarterly. If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Capizzi at 971-673-0182 or via email: jeff.capizzi@state.or.us.

A summary of Oregon HIV/AIDS data systems and FAQs - describes how and why HIV/AIDS data is collected in Oregon.

The current Epidemiological Profile summarizes HIV/AIDS in Oregon for cases diagnosed through December 2007 and can be found here.

Selected Microsoft Excel tables and figures from the Epidemiological Profile:

  1. Oregon Diagnosis and Deaths Trended
  2. Underlying and Contributing Causes of Death through 2007
  3. Oregon and non-Oregon Cases Trended

Preliminary Data - Reported as of April 1, 2009

The 'Report Date' is the date the case report is first entered into eHARS (Electronic HIV/AIDS Reporting System). The 'Diagnosis Date' is often much earlier than the date reported. The difference between these dates is the reporting delay. Because of reporting delay, HIV/AIDS case reporting data is considered preliminary until approximately six months after any given reporting period, at which time the number of diagnoses would be considered 95% complete.

HIV Testing Data (data summarize a subset of HIV tests which were publicly funded)
