CAREAssist can assist eligible persons pay part or all of their medical premiums. Coverage can include, but is not limited to:
 
CAREAssist can also assist with paying all or part of the costs for prescription drugs.
  • If you have medical insurance that pays for 50 percent or more of the cost of prescriptions, CAREAssist can pay the deductible, copayments, or both on any prescription.
  • If you do not have health insurance, or if your policy covers less than 50 percent of the cost of a prescription, CAREAssist can pay for any of the prescription drugs included in our list of FDA-approved medications (Formulary.)

How do I qualify for CARE Assist?
 
The CAREAssist program is designed for those who need financial help to pay for their HIV medications. Which means that when you apply for coverage, we’ll have to ask questions about your income and financial resources.
 
The new Federal Poverty Guidelines have been released for 2007. Please refer to this chart when determining client income eligibility.
