This group is a subcommittee of the Cross Connection Control Subcommittee of PNWS-AWWA. Anyone who is interested may attend the meetings or request meeting notes. The Committee meets quarterly to discuss cross connection control issues and sponsors training events, representing OR, WA and ID.Training Scholarships are available to cover the cost of the Cross Connection Specialist Course, in honor of Ray Pettie and Bob Stiles. University of Southern California, Foundation for Cross-Connection Control and Hydraulic Research publishes the Manual of Cross-Connection Control 9th Ed. The 9th Edition is the most current issue. USC-FCCCHR also issues "Certificates of Approval" to backflow prevention assemblies that meet manufacturing standards and pass their laboratory and field tests. This list of approved assemblies is available to members. |
