Oregon Asthma Resource Bank

Asthma is a complicated disease that requires constant self-management in between visits to the doctor.

While there are many materials out there to support asthma self-management, they are of varying quality and accuracy.

In response to the need for easily accessible, reliable materials, a collaboration of healthcare providers in Oregon came together to create the nationally recognized Oregon Asthma Resource Bank website and produce a variety of asthma education handouts and provider tools.

  Patient Action Plan for Asthma - Available in English, Spanish, Russian & Vietnamese. The Asthma Action Plan summarizes the doctor's instructions for self-management of asthma. It has places for the doctor to fill in directions for medication, peak flow numbers, asthma triggers, and what to do in case of an asthma attack or an emergency.
