Safety for Small Business Resources page has links to rules & laws, publications, internet classes, and training modules of the Safety for Small Business Program.

The online occupational safety and health courses consist of interactive modules covering topics like "Safety Committee Operations" and "Ergonomics Awareness."
 
Submit a training service request for on-site training. Oregon OSHA offers on-site training to safety committees throughout the year. The requestor must commit to provide a minimum of 10 attendees to the training. For scheduling purposes, we ask that your proposed training date be at least 60 days from the date of your request.
 
OR-OSHA offers no-cost workshops around the state. Click here to go to our training page which has our course catalog containing times and locations of classes (.pdf).
 
OR-OSHA co-sponsors statewide conferences to provide an opportunity for workers and employers to share ideas on occupational safety and health with local experts and nationally recognized professionals.
 
OSHA is pleased to offer continuing education units (CEUs) upon completion of specific courses.
 
Downloadable occupational safety and health training materials. Includes course workbooks, instructor notes, and overhead transparencies; the same as those used by OR-OSHA workshop instructors.
 
OR-OSHA's audio-visual lending library - holds 600 titles in videotape, film, slides, and written materials.
 
OR-OSHA's resource center - provides access to OR-OSHA rules, ANSI and other consensus standards, listings of 120,000 material safety data sheets, NI OSHA abstracts, etc.

Business programs
SHARP (safety and health achievement recognition program) is a recognition program that helps employers and employees find ways to make their work environment safer and healthier and keep it that way.
 
VPP (voluntary protection program) is designed to recognize and promote effective safety and health management.
 
Public outreach program lets the public know who we are by providing speakers and exhibiting at trade shows and professional conferences.
 
Employer recognition awards - provide opportunities to be acknowledged by OR-OSHA for your company's outstanding occupational safety and health record.
 
Speaker requests: OR-OSHA is occasionally able to provide agency representatives for the purpose of presenting informational speeches on safety and health topics.

Resources and services
Safety and health education and training grant program - encourages the development of occupational safety and health training and materials different from those already in existence.
 
Consultative services offers confidential no-cost on-site safety and health assistance to Oregon employers for help in recognizing and correcting safety and health problems in their workplaces.
