| LINUS - Legislative Information and Notification Update System |

LINUS is Oregon state government's online system for tracking legislative bills.
From the LINUS Web page, visitors can access background information about LINUS, training materials, training schedules and frequently asked questions. In addition, state agencies, boards and commissions can sign up to use LINUS (see Web page for details).

The Department of Administrative Services sponsors legislative training for state agency personnel prior to each regular legislative session. Below is information about the training held prior to the 2007 session.
State Agency Legislative Training - Part 1 - held Dec. 6, 2006, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Hearing Room B at the Capitol.
Legislative Training Agenda
State Agency Legislative Training - Part 2 - held Dec. 20, 2006, from 9 until 10:30 a.m. in Hearing Room B at the Capitol. The agenda included discussion about the legislative process and how bills become law.
