| Tie Bid |
In the case of a tie bid between an Illinois vendor and a out-of-state vendor, the Illinois vendor shall be given preference over the out-of -state vendor. |
| Equal to the state of a non-resident bidder |
When a contract is awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, a resident Illinois bidder shall be allowed a preference equal to the preference given or required by the stat of the non-resident bidder (Reciprocity). |
| Correctional Industries |
Preference is given to Illinois Correctional Industries for certain designated contracts. |
| Sheltered Workshops |
Preference is given to Illinois Sheltered Workshops for the Severely Handicapped for certain designated contracts. |
| U.S. Steel |
Preference is given for products made with steel produced in the United States. |
| Coal |
10% Preference is given for Illinois Coal. |
