| Datamart Server Connection |
|
To connect to the Datamart you must use either a version 8 or 9 copy of the IBM DB2 ODBC driver. Version 7 is no longer supported and will not allow you to connect to the Datamart.

v9.5fp2_nt32_rtcl_EN.exe - The actual IBM DB2 Data Server Runtime Client, version 9.05 Fix Pack 2 for Windows (32-bit). Click on this link and save to your local computer.

| New User Setup for SCD Accounting & OSPA Datamart |
|
To access data from the SCD Accounting and OSPA Datamart, you must have an IBM DB2 driver installed and Hyperion ad-hoc reporting software installed. Also, your agency security officer will need to request a Datamart password for you. After these items are installed and you have your password, you will need to set up an Open Catalog Extension (OCE) through your Hyperion software. Documentation is provided below or you may use the link for easy install.

R*Stars Actuals at the Budget Level - R*Stars integration established a one-to-one relationship between the ORBITS Cross-Reference number and the R*Stars Program Code; providing a link between budget (ORBITS) and accounting (R*Stars).

|
Classroom training for Datamart users will resume in 2009. In the meantime, new users are encouraged to take the Brio Query/Hyperion Introduction and Brio Query/Hyperion Reporting classes offered by Statewide Training and Development Services to gain additional background.
Until the classroom training resumes, copies of the training manuals are provided to assist you in learning how to use Hyperion to query the Datamart.
